Bang-E-Dara by Allama Iqbal

Bang-e-Dara (Urdu: بانگِ درا, translated as The Call of the Marching Bell) is the first Urdu philosophical poetry collection by Allama Muhammad Iqbal, published on September 3, 1924. The title metaphorically refers to the sound of a caravan bell that awakens sleeping travellers, signalling them to prepare for their journey. Written over a span of two decades, the book documents Iqbal's ideological evolution and aims to awaken the Muslims of the subcontinent.
